Today, it has become a popular trekking destination where visitors can witness the magical sunrise, the stunning caldera of Lake Batur, and even the distant view of Mount Rinjani in Lombok.

Your Mount Batur Sunrise Hike begins with free hotel or villa pickup before heading to the starting point of the trek. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our professional trekking guide who will provide you with a walking stick, flashlight, and bottled water. The trek to the summit takes approximately 2 hours. Once at the top, you’ll be rewarded with a spectacular sunrise, while jets of steam rise from the crater. Before the sun comes up, enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee along with breakfast—bananas and hard-boiled eggs cooked naturally with volcanic steam. On the way down, your guide will lead you along the crater rim, offering more unique views of this incredible active volcano.

• 03:30 am arrival at starting point
• 03:45 am Begin To walk up to sunrise point/peak acompanied by the licensed professional Trekking guides who have been doing this trip for 10+ years experience.
• 05:45 am Arrival at the sunrise point where we enjoy the spectacular sunrise view and Light breakfast with eggs cooked in volcanic steam.
• 06:30-07:00 am, after the sunrise, we continue to walk along side of crater rim, here you meet hundreds of friendly monkeys around the main crater
• 08:00 am begin descent
• 09:30 am your trip is finished, you will drive back to the hotel
